A CareNet Counseling Center of Wake Forest Baptist Health
The Fayetteville Family Life Center has provided quality faith-based counseling to the individuals, families, and children of Cumberland County since 1974. Born out of local faith congregations here in Fayetteville, and still supported by local congregations, the Center is staffed by licensed mental health professionals, who have strong faith backgrounds. The counselors at the Center help neighbors of our community with issues such as depression, spiritual issues, poor school performance, marriage issues, ADHD, grief, divorce, anxiety, anger management, and substance abuse issues. The Center accepts insurance payments, but the counselors make every effort to provide counseling for all, regardless of their insurance coverage or their ability to pay.
During the time of the Covid-19 Pandemic, all of our therapists are offering telehealth services. Please call our office for details.

The Fayetteville Family Life Center is a church-related, 501(C)(3) non-profit ministry. We are able to continue to provide our ministry to the community because of the generous support we receive from our partners. Some that come for services here, pay a fee or have insurance that may be billed. These funds are routed through CareNet Counseling of Wake Forest Baptist Health in Winston Salem, NC, and go to pay the salaries of our counselors. However, all Center overhead expenses (rent of buildings, administrative support, utilities, office supplies, etc.) are subsidized by local monies. Friends of the Center contribute to help pay for these local overhead needs and also help subsidize counseling sessions provided to those who can't afford it. We depend on this support to continue providing quality and caring services. Please help us keep our counseling ministry alive and vibrant by giving.
